How can I become a volunteer at the Humane Society of Genesee County?
Decide what category you would like to volunteer in. Click on that category below to view what the responsibilities are. If after reading that you decide that the position is a good fit for you, we just need you to apply. You can do so by downloading, printing off and mailing in an application. There is a $10.00 fee for each category of volunteering you wish to participate in, which covers your t-shirt and badge.
Do you like to knit or crochet?
If so, we need people just like you to make kitty blankets for us! We’ll put your skills to great use and keep our kitties comfy at the same time. We are in need of 20" x 24" blankets. So go ahead! Get creative and help our shelter cats stay nice and cozy, too.
