Pet Therapy

Volunteers take puppies and kittens to visit area Assisted Living facilities and hospitals for Pet Therapy.

Findings indicate that interacting with and holding animals bring positive responses and results from those that are ailing or recovering.

Interested In Participating?

If you are interested in Pet Therapy, you must first become an HSGC volunteer.  Then, you will be notified of a Pet Therapy volunteer workshop to attend.  These workshops are held twice a year.
