Golden Friendship

Through this program, fixed-income senior citizens, 65 years of age and older, may adopt adult (1 year and older) pets that have been sterilized and at our location for at least 2 weeks at no cost. Seniors who own and interact with pets are happier, healthier, less lonely, and more active. Pets also provide a sense of security. Animal companions can greatly increase our quality of life, and they are placed in wonderful, caring homes.

Fees

If the animal is not sterilized then the owner would be responsible to pay the $50 spay/neutered deposit that goes toward having the animal fixed.
