Dog Walk-A-Thon

On September 17, 2011, The Humane Society of Genesee County held its 22nd Annual Dog Walk-A-Thon on the campus of Mott Community College.

The Dog Walk-A-Thon is an annual fundraiser where walkers are strongly encouraged to collect pledges.  All money raised helps the animals of the Humane Society of Genesee County and every penny helps!  So if you are considering joining us for this great event, please download the pledge collection sheet.

There are several marked trails that meander through beautiful Kearsley Park. Stroll along the Barker Street Square with vendors offering everything from professional photography sessions to micro-chipping to food.

Music will be provided by Jerry Pillow & the Country Express.

Dogs are welcome, but not necessary to attend. You can also walk for your cat by filling out one of the paw cut outs to wear while you walk!

Registration

There is a $10 registration fee per dog ($15 for a family if you have multiples), but if the pledges collected equal $100.00, the fee will be waived. The registration fee includes a goodie bag for your dog.
