Any student grades K-12 in
Genesee County
What:
The Humane Society of Genesee County’s 2nd annual
“Kids for Fur Kids” fundraising contest. Students plan and carry
out their own fundraiser to benefit the many animals that come
through the Humane Society’s doors each year. They will make a
tri-fold display board detailing their fundraiser and present
money raised to the Humane Society.
When:
Saturday, December 9th
at 12 noon.
Where:
The Humane Society of Genesee County, 3325 S. Dort Hwy., in
Burton.
Why:
To promote community
involvement among students and to emphasize the importance of
being kind to animals.
